Being at school every day is an important part of your student’s success. If your student needs to be out, please call the attendance line at (812) 349-4704. A quick call helps us excuse absences when appropriate and keeps everyone on the same page. Indiana law requires a meeting after 5 unexcused absences and a letter to the prosecutor after 10, so your call makes a big difference.

Spanish Club will be selling Ghoul-o-grams during lunches from Tuesday, October 27th through Thursday, October 29th to raise money to support local families this holiday season. Ghoul-o-Grams consist of personalized notes and a sweet treat bag that will be delivered on October 30th. Ghoul-o-grams cost $2 each or 3 for $5. Don't miss out on this fang-tastic way to help our community! 🎃👻🧛‍♂️

The Monroe County Fairgrounds is hosting a car/truck/tractor/bike show on October 31st. from 10AM-4PM as a memorial for Hunter Chitwood. There will be food, drinks, tractor pulls, as well as a silent auction to bring the community together as we celebrate the life of Hunter Chitwood. Feel free to bring your cool ride. Entry is free and donations will be donated back to Bloomington north football, unified track, as well as Unionville elementary. BHSN Theatre presents our fall show, Naomi Iizuka’s The Last Firefly. In a stormy forest, a young boy searches for his father, who just happens to be thunder! He must navigate the dangers of the forest to find the power within himself to make his way back home. 

This Japanese Kabuki inspired fairy tale begins Friday, November 13th at 7pm. Shows will also be Saturday November 14th at 2pm & 7pm, and finally on Sunday, November 15th at 2pm. While it is suitable for all ages, we recommend parents with children under six years old to exercise caution.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students, and all MCCSC staff and faculty are free. You can purchase your tickets here at the door, however all shows will take place in The Blackbox, so seating is limited. Get your tickets today!
