Welcome Back and other information

Posted Date: 1/18/24 (5:58 AM)

Wow! How quickly two weeks can go by.  I hope you are staying warm and safe during this winter season.

As usual there are a lot of activities going on at North: food drive, musical practice, clubs moving activities forward, dances, state level gymnastics program, girls basketball playing for the conference title, boys basketball beating South and continuing to grow as a young team,  outstanding performances in swimming, and wrestling has senior night tonight.  I know I am missing something, but that is why we have announcements and event link so you can stay updated on all things North.

Report cards have been posted to the student portfolio in Skyward with the attachment North Updated Semester 1 2023-2024.  If you need a copy of the report card mailed to you, please contact the Main Office.  We discovered an issue and needed to re-run the report cards to fix it.  So please take the time to check and if you feel there is an error please reach out to the teacher.

Cougar Hour is an after school tutoring program staffed by our teachers that is from 2:55pm - 3:55pm in the library on Tuesday and Thursday.  No signup ahead of time is necessary, just show up and sign in.

Do you know a family that has an 8th grader that is planning to come to North next year?   Please encourage them to attend 8th Grade family night on January 24th at 6 pm (the flyer is attached) and find out more about North.

Communication is such an important part of any relationship.  Bloomington High School North  strives to keep you informed through announcements, Skyward access, Canvas access, and being responsive to your questions or concerns.  Please do not hesitate to reach out through parent square, email, or call to get your questions answered.  Remember, if you have not heard back in two school days then please call me.

I hope this is the best semester yet and I appreciate our school community and all the support and help you show to make it GREAT to be a Cougar!
