Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) Callout meeting!
Interested in growing your faith, making new friends, and connecting with other students? Come check out Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA)!
Our callout meeting will be Wednesday, August 26 during Tutorial in Mrs. Provines’ room, 212.
Be sure to sign up for FCA on the Tutorial Scheduler so you can attend. You do not have to be an athlete to join—everyone is welcome! Bring a friend and come see what FCA is all about!
 
BuildOn Club Call Out meeting.  BuildOn is a club that raises money to help build schools in developing countries, giving those students a hand-up not a hand-out. Come to the Call Out meeting on Tuesday 8/25 during tutorial to learn about the school North students helped build in Nicaragua last summer and about our plans to build another next year. Sign up for Dr. Shelton under Science in the tutorial scheduler. We will have snacks and a game!
 
 
The United Students club is having a call-out meeting this Friday during Tutorials.  If you are interested in being a part of this group, please join us in room 31 downstairs in the science department.  We will be making plans for Bloomington PRIDE this weekend. 
 
 
 
Spell Bowl Callout meeting in Mr. Kupersmith's room 605 on Friday during tutorial. This is different than a regular spelling bee. Also we get to eat at the Triple XXX Family Restaurant in West Lafayette.
 
  BHSN Theatre will be holding auditions for our fall play,  The Last Firefly next Tuesday, August 25th from 3-6:30 with call backs on Friday August 28th from 3-6. 
There are just a few slots available, so sign up outside The Blackbox now. You will need to prepare a monologue of about a minute. See Mr. Koontz if you have questions.
 
Interested in theatre but not necessarily performing,  Theatre Tech Club will begin after school on Thursday from 3-5. Come if you are interested in working behind the scenes on our productions. No experience necessary.
 
Lastly, Thespian Troupe 414 would like to invite you to the open call out during tutorial this coming Friday for all things theatre. Check the tutorial schedule for Mr. Koontz in Fine Arts. See you there!
 
 
Registration is Open for MCCSC's 4th Annual Preparing for High School and Beyond Mini Conference
Join us Saturday, August 29th, 9am–12pm at The Academy (444 S. Patterson Dr.) for this Parent University event designed for MCCSC middle and high school families (students welcome).  Topics covered at the event include the how to be successful in high school, the new Indiana diploma, dual credit and AP course information, college admissions and how to choose the right college, postsecondary options besides college, special education transitions services, and more.
Registration is Required:

• Review session descriptions before registering
• Choose up to three 50-minute sessions
• Each family member attending must register separately to ensure adequate seating
