BHSN DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS
alt_text
Being at school every day is an important part of your student’s success. If your student needs to be out, please call the attendance line at (812) 349-4704. A quick call helps us excuse absences when appropriate and keeps everyone on the same page. Indiana’s new law requires a meeting after 5 unexcused absences and a letter to the prosecutor after 10, so your call makes a big difference.

Did someone tell you that you mattered? Get on down to the Rosewater Foundation now and experience BHSN Theatre’s production of Kurt Vonnegut’s God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater opening this weekend. This week, if students find a glittery baby in a classroom of participating teachers they can receive a free concession item at one the shows. You must bring the glittery infant with you to the show.

Shows run Friday at 7pm, Saturday at 2pm & 7pm, and Sunday at 2pm. Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for students and faculty and staff are always free. Tickets can be purchased in advance by scanning the QR code or can be purchased at the door. Hope to see you all there for this fun and  though provoking show.

Donate blood to our spring blood drive!
Do you want to help contribute your blood to save members of our community? One in seven people rely on a blood product sometime in their life. This charitable act can be accomplished by signing up for any time slot on April 15th during the school day. Your blood will save three lives! A pass will be sent to take you out of class. By donating, you will receive snacks, soda, and free apparel! You must be at least sixteen years of age, and bring a valid ID with you (bus passes DON’T count.)
If you are interested, visit our table in the commons during ALL lunches starting on the 9th for more information, or to pick up the required consent form for sixteen-year olds. Don’t forget to look at the flyers posted around the school with the QR code to sign up.

Bloomington North Dance Marathon is currently seeking speakers for this year’s marathon on April 25th. Each year, we host this special event as a final celebration and opportunity to raise vital funds for Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis.
One of the most meaningful parts of the marathon is hearing personal stories from individuals and families who have experienced the profound impact of Riley. These stories inspire our community and remind us why we dance.
If you or someone you know would be interested in sharing their Riley story at this year’s event, we would love to connect.
For more information, please reach out to Mrs. DeWitt at trdewitt@mccsc.edu

Attention North Students, if you are planning on bringing a non-North student guest to Prom, please stop by Ms. Crozier's room, number 614 to pick up your guest form. Please turn them into Ms. Crozier no later than April 22 at 12 pm. No exceptions will be made for forms turned in past this date. Thank you, and we look forward to hosting you at prom!

As the school year ends, don't forget to order your yearbook! Pre-sale orders are available through May 1 and cost $70. Don’t wait; buy yours at YearbookForever.com
