On Monday, December 8 at 7 pm, the North Choirs will present their winter concert in the North Auditorium. Come enjoy an evening of music and poetry, featuring performances by almost 120 North students! Admission is free, donations are encouraged.

Winter blues got you down? Stressed about upcoming finals? What better way to check those worries at the door of the Blackbox and see our two class shows being performed next weekend. 
Theatre Production presents Bram Stoker’s Dracula, the classic haunting tale of bloodlust, desire, and vengeance. Just in time for the Holidays! Shows will be Thursday December 11th, Friday December 12th both at 7pm, and Saturday December 13th at 2pm.

Advanced Acting presents the original musical comedy Basics in Re-Animation. Cassie is under a lot of pressure at school and at home. Desperate, she looks to bring back someone from past to help her on her journey, discovering more than she bargained for. Written by BHSN’s Mal Taylor and Gray Andrews, this sweet and funny story will have you humming along and will warm the coldest of hearts.

All actors, singers, and dancers, the time has come for you to shine!

BHSN’s spring musical, Kurt Vonnegut’s God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater will be holding auditions immediately after winter break. This satirical comedy is full of laughs, scathing social commentary, and wonderful music that will get inside your head and stay there—maybe forever.

Sign ups will be posted on Monday, December 8th outside The Blackbox. If interested, you should sign up and then see Dr. Bov in the Choir Room (916) during finals week to get musical selections best suited for your voice so you can work on it over break. You will also need to prepare a 60-90 second monologue to perform at your designated time. 

Auditions will be held Monday, January 5th and Tuesday January 6th from 3 to 8pm. Acting callbacks will be Wednesday January 7th from 3-5pm and dancing callbacks Thursday, January 8th 3 to 6pm. Rehearsals will begin, Monday, January 12th. Email Mr. Koontz at nkoontz@mccsc.edu with questions.

See the Pacers and raise money for buildOn!
The buildOn club is doing a fundraiser with the Indiana Pacers.  We have a group of seats reserved together for the Pacers vs. Miami Heat on Saturday evening January 10.  In addition to the game ticket, you also get free hot dog, chips, and drink, a Pacers hat, and a chance to go on the court after the game.   Tickets are $27/$35 based on location and $8 of each ticket goes directly to buildOn.  You can order from this link: https://pacers.formstack.com/forms/buildon or scan the QR code on posters around school.  Tickets are limited and must be purchased by 12/11/25.
