BHSN DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS
alt_text
Being at school every day is an important part of your student’s success. If your student needs to be out, please call the attendance line at (812) 349-4704. A quick call helps us excuse absences when appropriate and keeps everyone on the same page. Indiana’s new law requires a meeting after 5 unexcused absences and a letter to the prosecutor after 10, so your call makes a big difference.

KICKBALL FOR COUGARS -
Do you like to win while having a fun time? Do you enjoy kickball? If you said yes, then here’s a perfect opportunity for you: Fall Kickball!

The competition will be held on Monday, October 22nd and Tuesday, October 23rd at the North softball field from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. There is room for just 8 teams, and only 8-10 people can be on one team together, so assemble your team quickly.

Sign up links can be found in fliers around the school, and on the bhsnstuco Instagram biography. The sign-up fee is $7 per player, and money must be turned in to Mrs. Phanschmidt in the library. Money must be turned in by the end of the school day on Wednesday, October 15th. Late fees are not accepted.

The winning team will be rewarded with a winner’s certificate, pizza, and the sign-up money will be donated to the charity of their choosing. Good luck and have fun!

The RC Crawler Club is having another call-out meeting next week on Tuesday, October 8th. The call-out will be held after school in the Intro to Transportation room in Hoosier Hills. We'll have some extra trucks to play with, so come on down and hang out!

In tutorial on Friday, October 10, North Principal Matthew Stark is making himself available to answer student questions about anything!
Mr. Stark oversees daily operations at North, leading staff and students to ensure a safe and effective learning community. As a former social studies teacher, Mr. Stark is also well-versed in current events, including local, state and national politics and other social issues.
Fill out the form below to be pulled for Stark Session #1, on Friday, October 10 during tutorial in the BHSN Library.
