 Being at school every day is an important part of your student’s success. If your student needs to be out, please call the attendance line at (812) 349-4704. A quick call helps us excuse absences when appropriate and keeps everyone on the same page. Indiana’s new law requires a meeting after 5 unexcused absences and a letter to the prosecutor after 10, so your call makes a big difference. |

TOMORROW (Wednesday) is Decades Day
Thursday is Dress as something with the first letter of your name
Friday is Cougar Pride—wear maroon and gold!
If you participate and submit a picture of your outfit using the qr codes around the school, you will be entered in the “best dressed” competition to win either a free homecoming football game ticket or a free homecoming dance ticket. Submit by 4pm each day.
The Homecoming dance is this Saturday from 7 to 10 p.m. in the Commons. The theme is Written in the Stars. Tickets are available to purchase during all lunches this week for $8, or $10 at the door.

Hoosiers Outrun Cancer
Before COVID, Bloomington High School North had a long tradition of supporting this incredible community event. We’re excited to reconnect with those roots and invite students, staff, and families to join Team North.
Cancer has touched so many lives—this event gives us the chance to honor survivors, remember those we have lost, and encourage those who are still fighting, all while raising money for a cause that matters deeply.

Did you know that Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis is committed to providing necessary medical care to more than 300,000 children yearly regardless of a family's ability to pay for services? If you are interested in raising funds and awareness to support the hospital and their mission, sign up for the Riley Dance Marathon Meeting on Tuesday, September 23 in the LGI. We will set up fundraising pages and discuss our upcoming fundraisers. Sign up for Mrs. DeWitt under "English" today!
Are you interested in meeting fun people and serving our community and our world with them?! Then you should join Interact Club! It is the high school version of Rotary Club. Our callout meeting is this Friday during tutorial in Mrs. Adams room 26. Make sure to sign up through the tutorial schedular. We hope to see you there!

Bloomington North Dance Marathon is selling Red Zone for Riley t-shirts and crewnecks to raise money for Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis as part of our Red Zone for Riley tailgate fundraiser. Shirts are on sale now through September 26 at noon. Any student who purchases a shirt and wears it to the tailgate on 10/10 will get in to the tailgate for FREE.
