United Students will be having a meeting on Friday, September 5, during Tutorial.  We will be deciding on officers as well as some exciting activities for the future.  Please sign up and join us in room 33.


The Academic Decathlon call-out meeting is cancelled but will be rescheduled

Now is the time to nominate your classmates for the 2025 Homecoming court! Nominations are live on your grade's Canvas pages. You can submit nominations until 3:00 this Friday afternoon.
Interested in being in a friendship club? Maybe Best Buddies is the club for you. We put together one on one friendships with individuals with special needs and those of general education. Does this sound like something you would be interested in? If so, come to our call out on September 11th right after school in the LGI. Can’t wait to see you there.

Do you love superheroes, manga, graphic novels, or anything in between? Join us for the Comic Book Club call-out meeting on Thursday, September 4th during Tutorial in Room 509 (Mr. Sturgeon’s room).

The Black Student Union is holding their call out meeting on September 10 in the LGI room! If you are interested in joining, please sign up for tutorial with Ms. Jordan or Mrs. Sweeney. They will go over how to sign up and things the club hopes to accomplish this year! If you have questions, please ask Ms. Jordan or Ms. Sweeney.
BuildOn Club Call Out meeting. Friday 9/5 during tutorial. buildOn is a club that raises money to help build schools in developing countries, giving those students a hand-up not a hand-out. Come learn about the school North students helped build in Nicaragua last summer and about our plans to build another next year. Sign up for Dr. Shelton under Science in the tutorial scheduler. 
Amigos Culture Club celebrates the strength and beauty of the Latino community. Join us for our first meeting on Thursday, Sept. 4 during tutorial in Mrs. Sweeney's room and be a part of something special.

We are thrilled to offer this opportunity for students to express themselves.

The City of Bloomington Commission on the Status of Black Males is proud to announce its upcoming Youth Leadership Summit, taking place on Thursday September 11, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at City Hall (401 N. Morton St., Bloomington, IN 47404).
 
The theme for the 2025 celebration is "Standing On Business.” The Summit is designed to engage and empower middle and high school-aged male-identifying students, with a focus on African American and Latino youth. The event will feature speakers, workshops, and community-building opportunities centered around leadership, education, and personal growth.
 
Registration is free of charge, and students who register will be excused from class to attend.
 
While the programming is tailored toward African American and Latino male-identifying students, all are welcome to participate in this inclusive and enriching event.
 
The event will feature an emceed panel discussion with Dr. Patrick D. Smith, PhD, Executive Director of Mentoring Services and Leadership Development at Indiana University.
 
Panelists include:
 
 ● Dr. Adrian Parker, PhD, Chief Engineer of Missile Energy Systems - Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division (NSWC Crane)
 
 ● Dr. Kelin Mark, Middle School Director - Park Tudor Middle School, Indianapolis
 
 ● Thomas X. Williams, Author and Motivational Speaker

Bloomington North Dance/Hip Hop Dance Team CALL OUT MEETING!  
Can you hip hop dance? This is for girls and guys! We have room for you on our team. The team will be performing in areas of Hip Hop, Pom Pom and Jazz. You can just dance one style to be on the team.  
Come learn about BHSN Dance Team, meet the coaches, get 2025-2026 schedule and see if it’s something you would like to audition for!!!!
