Are you interested in learning more about FFA? If so, the Hoosier Hills FFA chapter kickoff is TONIGHT, August 27th at 6pm. There will be snacks, tug of war, ultimate Frisbee, and other various sports on the softball field. Come hang out with us for snacks and popsicles and to learn more about FFA!
Habitat for Humanity is having a club meeting on Friday August 29th in the LGI. Habitat for Humanity is a great opportunity to help our local community and build experience working as a team. The meeting this Friday is for everybody interested in being involved this year. Please sign up for Friday August 29th during tutorial with Mr. Fyfe!
Amigos Culture Club celebrates the strength and beauty of the Latino community. Join us for our first meeting on Thursday, Sept. 4 during tutorial in Mrs. Sweeney's room and be a part of something special.
Anyone interested in playing baseball and not involved in a North Fall sport is welcome to attend open field on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30 – 5:30 pm at the Bloomington North baseball field. Open field will begin Tuesday, September 2nd. All forms must be completed on Final Forms to be eligible to participate. Any questions should be directed to Coach Hurt in room 201, rhurt@mccsc.edu .
Drone Club: Call out Meeting will be on Friday August 29th during tutorials in room 30. Sign up in the tutorial scheduler.
Science Olympiad: Call out Meeting will be after school on Tuesday September 2nd in Room 30. Ask your science or math teachers if you have any questions.

You can make a positive impact on the lives of families at Riley Hospital for Children by joining Riley Dance Marathon! Join us for a call-out meeting on Thursday, August 28 during tutorial in Mrs. DeWitt’s room. Sign up under “English.” Everyone is welcome—come be part of something meaningful while having fun!

The City of Bloomington Commission on the Status of Black Males is proud to announce its upcoming Youth Leadership Summit, taking place on Thursday September 11, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at City Hall (401 N. Morton St., Bloomington, IN 47404).
The theme for the 2025 celebration is "Standing On Business.” The Summit is designed to engage and empower middle and high school-aged male-identifying students, with a focus on African American and Latino youth. The event will feature speakers, workshops, and community-building opportunities centered around leadership, education, and personal growth.
Registration is free of charge, and students who register will be excused from class to attend.
While the programming is tailored toward African American and Latino male-identifying students, all are welcome to participate in this inclusive and enriching event.
The event will feature an emceed panel discussion with Dr. Patrick D. Smith, PhD, Executive Director of Mentoring Services and Leadership Development at Indiana University.
Panelists include:
● Dr. Adrian Parker, PhD, Chief Engineer of Missile Energy Systems - Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division (NSWC Crane)
● Dr. Kelin Mark, Middle School Director - Park Tudor Middle School, Indianapolis
● Thomas X. Williams, Author and Motivational Speaker

Bloomington North Dance/Hip Hop Dance Team CALL OUT MEETING!
Can you hip hop dance? This is for girls and guys! We have room for you on our team. The team will be performing in areas of Hip Hop, Pom Pom and Jazz. You can just dance one style to be on the team.
Come learn about BHSN Dance Team, meet the coaches, get 2025-2026 schedule and see if it’s something you would like to audition for!!!!

BHSN Theatre would like to announce our fall play:
Rhinoceros, by Eugene Ionesco
This absurdist play transports us to a small town with a very big pachyderm problem. How will the townspeople respond when their town is overrun by these stampeding creatures?
Students are invited to audition on September 2nd from 3-6pm with call backs on September 3rd from 3-6pm.
This is a competition show that will be performed here at North the weekends of November 6th and November 14th.
The competition performance will be November 22nd at Franklin Central High School.
There will be an audition sign up sheet outside of the blackbox starting next week. Please prepare a 1-2 minute monologue to deliver. Any questions, see Mr. Koontz in The Black Box.
Also, Theatre Tech club will resume Thursday after school from 3-5. There will be a call out during tutorial. Come and be a part of the action featuring building, lighting, costume, and sound design. All are welcome.
The US Army will be visiting on Wednesday, September 10th
Nick McClain from Marian University will be visiting on Oct 10th.
