Good Afternoon,

I hope you had a wonderful winter break and that you and your family are staying safe and warm during this unexpected addition to the break.

Today, Monday 1/6, is a true snow day and I am guessing we will need to make it up at some point. (that  information is for a later day)

Tuesday, 1/7, is a Maroon Day and  will be an Asynchronous Day, additionally the building is closed and all activities are cancelled for Monday and Tuesday.  Additional information below on Tuesday.  No live lessons

Asynchronous eLearning Expectations
a. Definition: is not live instruction. Instead, teachers deliver instruction through assignments and activities that students complete independently. When asynchronous instruction issued, teachers will post assignments to Canvas and will set a reasonable deadline for completion.
b. Asynchronous lessons should be posted to Canvas AND communicated to families viaParentSquare by 10am on the day of the asynchronous learning.
c. Students should be given at least 1 week to complete the lesson. 
d. When in-person instruction resumes, teachers should plan on revisiting the asynchronous learning instructions to ensure every student has access, and expectations and due date are clear.
